Homework – Speech Writing
Great work on your silent movies. Our next major homework assignment is writing speeches. Each student will write a 3-5 minute speech on any topic they choose. Students will choose a speech topic at school and plan their research. The research and memorization of the speech will be homework. Here are the important due dates:
Friday January 20 – all research is due we will be writing rough drafts in class
Monday January 23 – good copy of speech is due
Monday January 30 -students will deliver their speeches in class – speeches should be memorized – cue cards are allowed as prompts. Props are not allowed.
